Anti Biotics

I’m on anti-biotics now and will be for a total of ten days. UTIs should be treated before they reach the kidneys. That’s all I’m gonna say. Also, being in the ER a couple of hours isn’t really that bad…

I thought I was getting better

I’ve been ill since Friday ><  I spent most of my weekend on Batman’s couch cos I didn’t have the energy to get home. He lives less than twenty minutes away from me ><

“It Was Consesual” taken to a whole new level

A 47 year old man was accused of raping a five year old girl at least twicel. Guess what his defence was? Not only was it consensual, but she had initiated the secual contact!

Thankfully the judge didn’t buy it and sentenced him to four years in prison for statuatory rape. This is Sweden so four years is a pretty hard sentence. That’s what the instigator to a brutal gang rape got a few years back. (Here people can get ten years for murder)

The prosecutor said they probably had enough to convict him on rape, but didn’t want to take the chanse since there was no violence involved.

Nice Saturday

I spent the day with Pixie, Batman, (ex)boyfriends and a friend of Batmans. First there was some kind of demonstration against the PirateBay-case… I took a bunch of pictures ^^ This is me and Pixie on a subway train ^^

We didn’t really do much, but it was a really nice day :D Mostly we just joked around and laughed. Later that night Batman, the friend I mentioned earlier along with a bunch of his other friends and me ended up at a pub. If I managed to solve a math problem that was far above my level of knowledge Batman and his friend would make out. I got bonus points for my sense of humor but my solution wasn’t enough to get them to make out with each other:

Good News

Batman and (ex)boyfriend met each other for the first time this weekend.

(ex)boyfriend about Batman: “He seems nice. I can see why you like him.”

Batman about (ex)boyfriend: “I can see why you like him, he’s nice.”

They get along! :D

My Dad Called

The title says it all…

I got a call from a number I didn’t recognise with a country-code (?) I didn’t recognise either… And it was my dad who called.  He’d gotten my number from my brother and it was really weird talking to him actually. His speech was a bit blurred cos of his crushed jaw…

Anyway, I’m not really sure what to think yet…

Tony

I’m so glad that me an d Tony are friends. Him, (ex)boyfriend and Nadia are probably the people who know me the best… No matter how much drama my life is filled with Tony and me… It never really changes. In a good way ofc. We’re friends, good friends, and I don’t think there really is anything that can change that. Not anymore.

I still don’t really know how he went from a one night stand to one of my best friends. It went so gradually, I didn’t really notice at first. I was the one who started opening up, and for a long time I would talk to him about pretty much anything, and he’d listen… Maybe give me advice. I’d call him when I was sad and he’d make me feel better. Since he met Pixie that stuff has started going both ways. Now he talks to me about pretty much anything. He calls me when he’s down. When he’s forgotten his anti-depressants and feel like the world is falling apart he calls me..

Take You’re Bloody Pills!

Tony has been forgetting his anti-depressants these past few days… And yesterday he was feeling really down. So I went over to his place. Apparantly he thinks that I’m “too nice” and he apologised profusely for what I have to go through for our friendship.

I’m not that nice… I just care about him. And I hope that if I’m really sad some day I’ll have a friend who is there for me…

Driving me Crazy!

Fucken allergies! My eyes has been itchy the past few days and I don’t think it’ll stop ’till the trees drop their leaves in about six months ><

Study Technique

The way I study:

First I read all the books, articles, and court cases we’re asked to read. This generally takes a while, since we get a bunch of books for each corse. Usually it will be about 100-150 pages a day if I spread it out like that. I usually read a lot some days and next to nothing other days. I try to get weekends off.

Then I’ll get hold of old exams so I can try and answer the questions and see how good I am. I tend to get better for each exam I try :)

Parallely with these things I tend to try and explain the things I’m supposed to learn about. I’ll tell (ex)boyfriend, Roomie, Batman, Tony and pretty much anyone who’s willing to listen pretty much all about it. If I can explain the jurisdiction of the International Criminal Court so someone who is not studying law, then I can be pretty sure that I know how it works.

Yeah, I’ve calmed down a bit since my last post^^

I need to study more!

I really need to study more! These past two courses I’ve only gotten B’s on >< If I even want to have half a chance of becoming a prosecutor I need to get my grades up! And fast!
